Stress & anxiety can heavily influence an athletes behaviour, and at high-level competitions these influences are amplified. Some athletes may perform better under higher levels of stress & anxiety whereas some athletes may perform worse.

Understanding the relationship between stress, anxiety, and performance is fundamental for athletes to function under high levels of pressure. This workshop discusses models that explain this relationship, identifies major sources of stress, and compares strategies to regulate anxiety.
